ITALY II

I am always interested in the way that people interact with their surroundings, particularly in urban areas. Having fallen in love with Italy last year, I travelled there again for three weeks in the summer of 2023, staying in the Northern state of Piedmont. Turin, Cuneo, Saluzzo, Barolo, Montforte d'Alba (as well as smaller villages in this region) provided me with new streets, new people and new architecture to photograph. 
There is something about Italian streets that I find beautiful backdrops for human life. I also love the play of light in Europe, so different from my native UK. I have selected five images from my travels, that document the urban behaviour, culture and architecture that I am so inspired by in Italy.
