Ways of looking at a subject are of the greatest importance to me.

I started working with 35mm film at college and fell in love with the grain, the contrast and the process. Using my Grandad's camera, I began to record my observations and experiences.

In 2006 I began to also work digitally, documenting views and keeping memories. I now record using both digital and analogue processes.

Working as an Art and Graphics teacher, I try to promote a love of the everyday, learning to find interest in our surroundings and recording them with care and attention.
