UNCLE BERT I

My family home is in Co. Cork, Ireland. In May 2012 I visited my Uncle Bert at his farm, which was built by my great-great Grandad. My Uncle's strong personality comes through in these images; he was an eclectic collector of items that he exhibited around his home environment, a lover of nature and of bright colour. 'Inside' objects live outside, seaside objects are given a new home on land. He loved to plant trees and the landscape around the farm was his life's work. These are presented here in a portrait of my Uncle.
